I bought this paddle because I wanted a paddle more likely to fit my doubles style of play (and most people's style actually). I am more of a singles player and have decided to help my partners feel more comfortable by playing more traditionally. I wanted more consistent reset drop shots and more feel at the net with less pop than the V7 14mm. My desires have come true. I needed to stop relying on my passing shot winners to get points. As I level up it is less likely to even get the ball past anyone, so I have been placing my partner in a tough spot if my shot gets slapped back to my partner who is either at the kitchen line or transitioning. Since my adjustment I have been winning more with random partners and my regular partner. The V7 Sega 16mm LH has done the trick.
